Hefestus Ltd., established in 1993, is a developer and manufacturer of top
sealing packaging machines.
Hefestus is a privately owned company and is situated in the Caesarea Industrial
Park - Israel.
The company, established by Mr. Yamay, was for many years known as
a boutique engineering workshop specializing in unique packaging solutions
for the food industry in Israel.
Our machines combine an innovative patent of MAP SLB™ technology.
Hefestus' machines are sold to Eastern & Western Europe, USA, Russia,
South Africa, Australia and Japan.
We have developed a worldwide patent - SLB™ “Shelf Life Booster”.
MAP packaging operations are simplified and production rates increased;
up to 15 cycles/min per sealing head and up to 4 trays/cups per sealing head. Cycle

food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. We have a wide variety of standard
and custom-made equipment, from manual machines to fully automatic lines,
